Lighting fixtures
At Pillen Group we make functional and design lighting fixtures for construction and infrastructure using different materials.
These lighting fixtures can consist of both aluminum extrusion profiles and sheet metal parts.

Description
Series sizes and production
The lighting fixtures are produced in recurring production series.
Materials
The lighting fixtures that we make can consist of various materials such as aluminium, steel or stainless steel. In the example shown below we use an aluminum extrusion profile. This extrusion profile is extruded by an aluminum extrusion company and supplied to us for processing.
Production
Below is an example of a lighting fixture that is made of aluminum extrusion profile, which has undergone various processes such as: sawing, milling, rolling, welding and brushing. Thanks to our knowledge, we know how to apply the exact requested tolerances throughout the entire production process, whereby the product can be produced in a stable manner. It is important for products as shown here that there is no tension in the profiles, or that the profiles will twist during the process.

Research & engineering
The product is a technical challenge as it consists of aluminum extrusion profile. This profile has the starting material, which has the risk that the material becomes obsolete, which means that dimensional deviations can easily occur. Each extrusion batch (manufactured batch) also influences the final dimensions of the product. This means that proper research and engineering is essential to set up the production process accordingly.
Post-processing
The products are subsequently brushed and powder coated to the desired powder colour.
Measurement and control technology
The products have very precise tolerances that are continuously tested during the production process using various measuring techniques.
Where can you find these lighting fixtures?
These lighting fixtures are part of a free-standing lamp used in offices and residential environments.
