More Reach, More Output, More Continuity – New Hedelius Tiltenta 7-2600

At Pillen Precision, we are strengthening our (precision) machining capacity with the arrival of the Hedelius Tiltenta 7-2600, including Indumatik automation. This machine makes our production more versatile, efficient, and reliable, exactly what our clients in sectors such as measurement and control technology, gas and flow meter industry, semiconductor industry, automotive, defense and security, and agricultural technology demand.

Technical Challenge and Solution

The new Tiltenta 7-2600 will initially be used for the production of profiles applied in the medical industry. These components, for example, require:

  • a reach of approximately 2,600 mm to machine long profiles;
  • a 4th axis between centers for dynamic milling operations;
  • and unmanned production to remain cost-efficient.

With the existing Hedelius CB3200, we are reaching the limits in these areas. The new machine enables us to take on annual orders, ensure continuity, and even make night production possible.

Machine Configuration of the Hedelius Tiltenta 7-2600 | The Facts (Technical Specifications)

  • X-axis 2600 mm, Y-axis 700 mm, Z-axis 695 mm
  • NC rotary table Ø700, allowing 5-axis machining with a tilting milling spindle
  • Spindle speed: 14,000 rpm
  • 309 tool positions (264 in the magazine + 45 in the carousel)
  • 4th axis for example for long profiles
  • Horizontal 4th axis for 5-axis machining of long products

This means high stability for large workpieces, fewer setups, and greater geometric flexibility.

Indumatik Automation | Unmanned Scaling

  • The Indumatik automation turns the Tiltenta 7-2600 into a 24/7 production line.
  • 21 pallet positions (400x400x600 and 400x400x400)
  • 48 small + 12 large clamping positions
  • Max. product weight 200 kg
  • Real-time data and ERP integration
  • Prepared for a second machine

This allows us to run small and medium-sized series simultaneously, unmanned. Even materials that are difficult to automate, such as profiles, extrusions, and solid materials, can be efficiently produced overnight.

What This Means for Our Clients

  • Continuity – the option for annual orders and planning reliability
  • Cost efficiency – lower cost per unit, even for medium-sized series
  • Flexibility – fast changeover between products and sectors
  • Output – higher production without additional operator input

Operational from 2026

Installation of the Hedelius Tiltenta 7-2600 is scheduled for week 47 of 2025. From early 2026, the machine will be fully operational and ready to support clients across various markets with their production challenges.

With this investment, Pillen Precision reinforces its role as an innovative, collaborative, and hands-on partner in complex, precise, and scalable machining. Driven by our core values – Pure, Passion, Performance, and Personal – we work every day with our clients on solutions that make every technical heart beat faster.
