Pillen Group named Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 Oost Gelre
We are proud to announce that Pillen Group has been named Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 Oost Gelre. The award was presented during the annual New Year’s meeting of IKGL (Industrial Circle Lichtenvoorde-Groenlo), which took place on Friday 16 January.
The atmospheric gathering brought together more than 120 entrepreneurs from the municipality to start the new year in a festive and inspiring way. It was an evening focused on connection, entrepreneurship and looking ahead.
Special recognition for vision and entrepreneurship
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the two annual entrepreneur awards, which were handed out by Mayor Annette Bronsvoort. The title of Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 Oost Gelre was awarded to Pillen Group. Theo Pillen proudly accepted the award.
The jury praised Pillen Group for its entrepreneurship, clear vision and years of commitment to innovation, technological development and sustainable growth. The award is a wonderful recognition of the work of all colleagues within the Pillen Group, who are committed to continuing to build progress together every day.
Recognition for young entrepreneurial talent
In addition to the main prize, the Young Heroes Award 2025 Oost Gelre was also presented during the evening. This went to Pascalle Ressing and Sabine ten Holder of Ervaren Kracht. As a young and promising company, they are an inspiring example of innovative entrepreneurship within the municipality.
Building the future together
The evening concluded with a pleasant afterparty and was considered particularly valuable by those present. For Pillen Group, this award is not only recognition of the past, but above all motivation for the future.
